Look no further, this is the BEST infant seat. I shopped and read reviews for months before choosing the Chicco (KEY-CO) keyfit infant carseat. I was immediately impressed with the high quality of the fabric, which turns out to be very easy to clean. Also after nearly a year of use it still looks new. I also love the fact that the support and padding didn't smash down with use. But the best part is that my baby loved his seat from the first use. I bought the charcoal with red trim in the spring of 2006 for my son. He weighed 9lbs. 4oz and used the newborn seat pad for about two weeks, but it was nice to have when other moms were rolling up receiving blankets to put under their babies' bottoms. The latch system is easy to install and the seat itself is very easy to put in the base and take out. One handle to lift up on for taking out of the car base. This seat, without the base of course, is easy to put in the shopping cart. It rides on the bar and back of the cart's child seat just fine. I can't say enough great things about it. I would have liked to have the stroller to attach mine too, but at the time, I was thinking that I wouldn't need it. Looking back, I would have used it. Also, this seat is not too heavy to carry around. I feel this carseat it by far the best choice and it is very safe. I would strongly recommend it and will use it again. I would give it more stars!!!

My daughter was premature this was the only carseat that i found besides the graco that was made for children 4 pounds!I love how easy it is to put in the car and take out.It is so easy to get her in and out.I love everything about this carseat!The only thing i would change is why do they not make convertible car seats..Now i have to find something hopefully as good as this one!!!

mY SONE BORN ON jUNE 1 08, WAS 6LB AND 13 OZ. THE CAR SEAT LOOKED LIKE IT WAS GOING TO EAT HIM UP, HE WAS WAY TO SMALL FOR IT AT THAT TIME. NOW HE'S 4 MONTHS ALMOST AND A CAR RIDE WITH HIM IN THIS CAR SEAT PUTS HIM FAST TO SLEEP. HE DOESNT SEEM BOTHERED AT ALL SO BY THAT I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS CAR SEAT IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY.

We had our darling little girl July 7 08 and she started out 7lbs 12oz and is now 20 olbs and 26 in long! We got this as a travel system with the stroller which makes my life SO much easier.. I am 5 foot and carrying it for me is a joke! Its too heavy for me.. If not IN a grocery cart - cause they don't latch on to them.. then it is in the stroller.. I love the car seat because she is comfortable in it and safe.. We live in cold weather for 6 months and with the cover on it she is nestled all snug and warm. Everyone kept telling me to get something cheaper but if we had she would be out of it by now! I love my stroller and it fits in my 97 NEON trunk! The car seat base fits into my car next to a booster seat perfectly.. so its made for little cars too.. :) I had heard bad reviews about small cars and the system so I was anxious.. NO LONGER! Great gift, great buy... AWESOME safety!

After comparing the quality and awesome features of Chicco's carseat, I'm convinced all other brands are inferior! I've dealt with other popular brands, and they feel cheaply made compared to this. We love everything about it. I'm able to easily adjust the harness straps to custom fit her every day, no matter if she's wearing a puffy sweater! My chunky baby is 6 months and over 20 pounds, and still has plenty of room to grow. (Fits up to 30 pounds, whereas most other seats fit to 20 pounds.) It's suffered a lot of use and washes, but still looks like new. We feel so assured by the quality and safety this carseat provides; we now prefer Chicco products over any other brand.
